Several Montreals attended the 2009 AROC National Convention, which was held in Portland, Oregon, from 15 to 19 July. This carried out degreasing, zinc phosphate coating and electro-deposition of the undercoat before final spray painting by hand.
Although they are relatively rare in North America, 12 Montreals participated in the meeting. Pre-convention Alfa driving tours began in Kingston Ontario on Monday 10 July, and ended at the hotel in Montreal on Wednesday 12 July in the afternoon.
These tours included sightseeing and stops at many unique and interesting Canadian landmarks. Thursday 13 July included an Autocross (solo racing with cones) for those so inclined, or you could use the day to enjoy some of the available pre-arranged tours and activities in the city.
